Sehri and iftar in Bradford
Bradford is further north than London or Birmingham, so its February days are a little shorter and the change through the month is faster. The first fast of Ramadan 2027, on Monday 8 February 2027, runs from 05:41 to 17:02, a fast of 11 h 21 m. On day 30 it runs from 04:40 to 17:59, 13 h 19 m. Everything is in GMT: British Summer Time only starts after Eid.
This page opens with the convention most South Asian mosques use, the University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi (Fajr and Isha at 18°), and Hanafi Asr. That is a starting point, not your mosque’s timetable. Mosques in Bradford publish their own Ramadan calendars, often with sehri a few minutes before Fajr and with Isha and tarawih at fixed times, and they don’t all agree.
To match yours:
- Compare the first few days of your mosque’s calendar with the table above.
- If sehri ends earlier, add an Imsak column (5, 10 or 15 minutes before Fajr) under More options, or set a Fajr adjustment.
- For any other prayer that differs by a few minutes, set the difference under Adjust to match your mosque.
- Download the PDF or add the times to your phone’s calendar.
The first day also varies between mosques. If yours begins on Tuesday 9 February 2027, choose that date under First day of Ramadan. Eid al-Fitr falls the day after the last fast.
