Murals are ordered by the wall, not by the roll
A mural is one picture. Made-to-measure ones are printed at the size you ask for and cut into strips that go up side by side; off-the-shelf ones come at a set size on one or several panels. Either way there are no rolls to count: you order the wall plus a margin, then check both directions are covered.
In Mural mode the wallpaper calculator starts from a 4 × 2.5 m wall printed to measure. Adding Photowall’s 10 cm gives 4.1 × 2.6 m to order, which in Graham & Brown’s 50 cm widths means 9 strips. Switch Sold to Fixed size and enter a ready-made design’s dimensions and panel count: you’ll see whether it reaches with the margin, how much comes off each edge, and how wide each panel is.
Doors, windows and sloping ceilings
Take the full wall, openings and all. The picture is a rectangle that gets cut around the frames, so the scene continues above a door and below a sill. Under a slope, go by the highest point. Decide before you start which edge of the image you can spare, since that is where the trimming happens, and begin hanging from the side you want intact.
