Ten teams is a common size for an evening league: one round a week gives a nine-week season, with every team playing every other once. This page opens that way, with one round per match day: Day 1 to Day 9, five games each night, and the printout puts each night on its own page.
Planning the nights
| Pitches or courts | Time slots per night |
|---|---|
| 5 | 1 |
| 3 or 4 | 2 |
| 2 | 3 |
| 1 | 5 |
With ten teams every team plays every week: there are no byes, so nobody has a free night unless you add one. If the season has to fit fewer weeks, set Rounds per day to 2 for double-header nights and five weeks (the last night a single round). For a full home-and-away season, pick the Double round robin format: 18 nights, and each team ends with nine home and nine away games.
Keeping the table through the season
Games get postponed. Enter each result when it is played, in any order: the table always ranks what has been played, and the P column shows who has games in hand. Head-to-head only counts once the teams level on points have all met, so an early win doesn’t decide a tie before the others have played. Download CSV puts the fixtures into a spreadsheet for a club website, and Share result links the captains to the live table each week.
One league or two groups
Splitting ten teams into two groups of five halves the season to five nights, but each team then plays only four games and has a bye night. Use the 5-team schedule once per group and finish with a finals night between the group leaders.
