How to make a song keychain
- Copy the link to your song, album or playlist from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, SoundCloud or Deezer (Share, then Copy link) and paste it over the example.
- The keychain base and a 🎵 in the middle are already set. Swap the note for another emoji, or pick a different look: jelly cubes suit a gift.
- Music links are long, so the code has more modules than a short link. The page opens at 45 mm; check the module size in the print guide and go wider if it warns you.
- Download the STL or 3MF and print it with a strong loop: three walls or more.
Gift ideas
A song keychain works as a small surprise: “our song” for a partner, a playlist for a friend’s road trip, a band’s new single for fans at a merch table. Spotify links open the song straight in the app, and on a phone without Spotify, in the web player.
Scan the finished keychain before you give it away: long links need crisp prints, and a quick test with two different phones is worth it.
Links that last
Print links that won’t break: a song’s own share link rather than a link from a shortened, expiring service. If you want to change the music later, make a playlist, link the playlist, and edit its songs whenever you like. The keychain keeps working as long as the playlist exists.
