STL and 3MF are in millimetres for 3D printing (3MF keeps one part per color for multi-color printers). GLB is for Blender, websites and AR.

    What the code opens

These are example details: replace them with your own before you print or share.

Drop a screenshot or photo of a QR code (Venmo, PayPal, UPI, a menu…), or choose a file. It’s read in your browser and turned into 3D.

      Look

A picture from the front; turn it and the same blocks line up into the QR code.

How to print a QR code illusion

      1. Type your link and pick a picture. Objects with a clear outline (the crown here, a heart, an emoji) make the best sculptures; paintings print as solid blocks with the painting on the front.
      2. Make it printable is ticked. Choose 4, 6 or 8 filament colors: the print guide lists the exact colors to load.
      3. Keep Detail at Fine or Chunky for printing. At Ultra, each picture column is under half a millimetre at this width.
      4. Check both scan results: From above (the screen) and Phone 1 m above (the real print).
      5. Download the 3MF: every filament color is a separate part, ready for the AMS or MMU.

      Why it’s built this way

A printer can’t make a cube float, so every column of the picture becomes a slab that runs through the whole code and stands on the plate. Where the picture has a gap below its outline, the slab is filled with the light color, so the sculpture reads as your picture standing in front of a light background. A one-cube cap on top of each slab holds the code’s squares, so from above you see the code, and from the front you see the picture on the slabs’ ends. Nothing overhangs, so it needs no supports.
