Planning a room with IKEA furniture
Measure the room wall to wall, open Rooms and type its width and length (the starter is 4.2 × 3.6 m with a 2.5 m ceiling). The Furniture panel opens on its IKEA list: every product grouped by series, each with its sizes. Pick a size from a product’s list and tap the product to add it. It goes to a free spot along a wall, where you can drag and turn it.
The search finds products by series and size: type kallax, pax 100 or malm queen, with or without the accents on names like SÖDERHAMN or POÄNG. A search also lists the planner’s own typical pieces, which you can resize to anything IKEA doesn’t sell.
Select a placed IKEA piece to see its product name, switch it to another of its sizes, or open its page. The plan, the share link and the room the page keeps for you all remember which product it is.

Each size below is the overall size printed on the product’s page in IKEA Greece’s online store in October 2026. Stores elsewhere, in the US especially, sell some of these in other sizes (the beds most of all), so look up your local version too.

A bed’s name gives the mattress it takes; the frame is wider and longer. A PAX frame needs its doors’ swing or sliding track in front, and a MALM chest needs about the drawers’ depth again to open: leave that floor clear in Top view, where the selected piece shows its gaps to the walls and to its neighbours.
