What this page sets up

The arbitrage tab opens with a three-way soccer market in decimal odds: the best prices for home, draw and away at different books, 2.70, 3.60 and 3.20, and 100 to stake. Their implied chances add up to 96.06%, under 100%, so staking each outcome in proportion returns the same amount whichever wins, if every bet is accepted at these prices and stands. Add or remove outcomes for two-way markets or races.

Reading the result

The top figure is the profit if every bet stands, then the percentage of the total staked. The table gives each outcome’s stake and what it would return. When the prices add up to more than 100%, the tab says there’s no arbitrage and shows what every split would lose instead. The table under this text shows how the total of the implied chances turns into the margin you’d make or lose.

Rounding and limits

Books take stakes in whole units or pennies, so round each stake and recheck the returns: a small arb can vanish in the rounding. Nothing here is a recommendation to bet, and profits depend on every bet standing. Keep a record of each bet’s slip in case a book later voids one, and remember that winnings may be taxable where you live.

From price totals to profit or loss

100 split across the outcomes in proportion to their implied chances. Below 100% the result is a profit if every bet is accepted at these prices and stands; above 100% every split loses.
