What this page sets up

The converter opens with −110, the standard price on both sides of a point spread in US sportsbooks. Type any American price into the first box and the decimal, fractional and implied-probability boxes follow, along with the payout for your stake. It works the other way too: type decimal or fractional odds and read off the American price.

The two formulas

Decimal odds are the total return for each 1 staked. For a positive American price, that is 1 + odds ÷ 100; for a negative one, 1 + 100 ÷ odds (without the minus sign). Going back, decimal odds of 2.00 or more become +(decimal − 1) × 100 and anything below 2.00 becomes −100 ÷ (decimal − 1).

Reading the chart

Each row of the chart under this text is one American price with its decimal odds, the fractional odds a UK bookmaker would print, and the implied probability, which is also the win rate you need to break even at that price. Fractions marked ≈ are the closest simple fraction; decimal odds are rounded to three places.

Payouts at a glance

At −110 a 10 stake returns 19.09: 9.09 profit plus the stake. At +150 the same 10 returns 25. Set your own stake under the odds boxes to see the payout and profit for any price, and the stake you’d need to win 100.
