When is Thanksgiving 2026?
This year US Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, November 26, 2026. Federal law fixes it as the fourth Thursday in November (5 U.S.C. 6103), so the date shifts every year: next time it is Thursday, November 25, 2027. The sentence on top gives the calendar days left, while the clock targets the first minute of the holiday on your device.
Weekdays before the long weekend
This version adds working days left under the clock: the weekdays from tomorrow up to the holiday, not counting today or Thursday itself. It’s the number to watch for school projects, deliveries and anything at work that must be done before the break. Holidays such as Veterans Day (November 11) are not taken off, because not every employer closes.
Planning the meal
Work back from the Thursday:
- Guests and travel: send relatives the link; each person sees it in their own zone, which helps when people fly in from across the country.
- Dinner time: enter the hour you sit down to eat, and the clock targets the meal instead of midnight.
- Shopping: the weeks and days figure tells you how many weekends are left for the big shop.
For the kids’ table, print Thanksgiving bingo cards. Once the turkey is done, tap the Christmas button on the main countdown page to start the next wait.
