Card 1

Every card in the set is different. Use the arrows to page through the cards before you print.

Baby shower bingo turns the gift opening into a game: every guest holds a card of baby items, and as presents come out of the paper, they mark what they see. The cards above are pink 5×5 grids with a free center square, each dealt from 40 common baby gifts, so no two guests hold the same card.

Two ways to play

  • Gift bingo (no caller). Hand out cards and pens as the opening starts. When a gift matches a square, say “Onesie!” out loud and everyone who has it marks it. Guests pay closer attention to the presents, and the parent-to-be gets a running commentary for free. It works best when the cards come from the actual registry: paste the registry items into the word box (at least 24) before you print.
  • Called bingo. If the gifts are still coming in, or the shower is online, open Call the game. The screen draws one word at a time from the same list and keeps a board of the calls so far. Use it alongside gift bingo too: read a word after each gift so the game keeps moving.

How long it runs

We simulated 2,000 games with this list. With 12 guests the first line came after about 14 words; with 20 guests, about 13; with 30, about 12. A blackout game took about 37 of the 40 words whatever the guest count. At one gift every minute or two, the first winner turns up roughly halfway through a typical opening, so keep two or three prizes ready: first line, second line, first full card.

Printing and checking

Set Number of cards to the guest count plus a few, then download the PDF. Every card carries a number. When someone calls bingo, type that number into Check a winning card and the page lights up the squares already called, which settles any argument about whether “Socks” counted when they were part of an outfit.

For a pastel set, pick Teal or Purple under the color options; Black saves ink. Children at the shower? Print a second set at 3×3 for them: fewer squares to find, so they reach a line sooner.

When you reload, this page goes back to the set-up described here, with the same card set code, so printing again gives the same cards. The number of cards, the paper size and, where this page doesn’t set them, cards per page and color are remembered from the generator. To keep an edited list, use Share result, or start from the bingo card generator, which remembers everything.
